Roasted Winter Vegetables

This is a very basic recipe, mix and match what ever you like

or have on hand.

 

1/3    cup               oil, your choice

1       packet           dry onion soup mix

2       tbsp              spices (your choice), thyme, rosemary, sage, celery seeds,

                              pepper,  bay, parsley, etc.

1       large             onion, chopped

4       cloves           garlic  

2       lbs                 winter vegetables (your choice), cubed ;  ie. potatoes,  carrots,

                              turnip, rutabaga, parsnip, brussels sprouts, olives etc.

1       lb                  meat (your choice) ie. sausage, kielbasas,  bratwurst, etc.

+ preheat oven to 450

+ coat and mix vegetables, oil, soup and spices

+ place in roasting pan

+ roast about 40  minutes, stir occasionally
