Cliff's Kielbasa Lentil Soup

 

9             cups           water

1             lb               kielbasa sliced

2 ˝         cup            lentils

1             medium     onion, chopped

1             large          carrot, sliced

1                               celery stalk, chopped

1                               bell pepper, diced

2             cloves        garlic, minced

3             cubes         beef bouillon

2             tsp             dried parsley

1             tsp             summer savory

1/4          tsp             pepper

1             tbsp           oil

+ sauté onions, garlic, carrots and celery in oil.

+ put everything else into pot and bring to a boil.

+ simmer ˝ hour or until lentils are soft.

+ stir occasionally and add water as required.
